Wow. I hear everyone say that it has to cure 2-3 weeks before buffing depending on how many coats you apply and the humidity.. and I know that's its pretty humid in the UK..

Oh my god. Don't you know that CBS / Fender used vinyl sealers under the cellulose of all those guitars that the lacquer often crack off badly and/ or end up cloudy. Both from lack of compatability and adhesion.

What are those clips you use on the soundboard to align the braces? I’d love to implement those into my builds here in the US.

Hi Lawrence. Is that definitely 45mm from the top of the fretboard? I recently bought a LG47 and the shop advised (after apparently contacting yourselves at Atkin) that the measurement was 45mm from the bottom of the fingerboard. I am now quite confused??

these atkins sound great a bit toppier then a standard d 18 by Martin but wonderful chime and woody sound here!!

Great guys these, but there is allways a but. Why? Well I became a little dissapointed because of the neck to body junction. Oh hell, there was them damn scruvs again . Doesnt anyone build guitars these day with an ordinary dovetail any more? I do, but thats me. Think that the only metallic things in a acoustic guitar should be the tuners and strings.

I had the pleasure of trying the candy apple Red J43 in Coda today. As well as its unique look, it sounds glorious. It was a tough decision between the CAR J43 and an Essential D. One of them came home with me today 😊

What kind of binding is on that guitar?? I've been noticing Atkins guitars here in Oklahoma USA. What other binding options do you offer besides white plastic. Do you offer solid wood binding??? I'm just not a fan of plastic binding, definitely not white. I've been looking at Atkins guitars at Eddie's guitar in St Louis Missouri. Do you offer a left hand model

Played a 37 in a shop in Missouri. Was really impressed! Put it up against a high end American builder, and I thought it was a much more resonate and louder guitar. The other even had a red spruce top. Now, if the 37 would’ve had a baked Addy top, that would’ve probably had me selling some stuff. Really nice guitars. I build too! Albeit, electrics. Would love to build some of the vintage light build classics like your shop is doing.

I love my Atkins White Rice and Atkin OM37.
